Kevin Kiermaeir Thinks He Has Turf Hip
August 23rd, 2016Man, how did Barry Bonds ever manage to get through seven seasons and three Gold Gloves in left field on the Three Rivers Stadium
cement turf.
Just 330 games into his Rays career, it seems Kevin Kiermaeir is convinced he has turf hip. Just look at his comments in the Tampa Bay Times.
Kiermaier was back in the lineup last night in the Red Sox’ 6-2 to shakedown of Tampa Bay at the Fruitdome.
Joe has nothing against Kiermaier. Amazing outfielder, horrible stick. And that’s ok.
But Joe is concerned about what might happen to Kiermaier’s game if he really — and thoroughly — believes his home field is destroying his career. That’s a recipe for an unhappy ending.

Kevin is here for his glove; not his bat. Is there such a thing as hip tendinitus ? Oh, also Kevin, learn to bunt better.

Christ, he should be glad he never played at the Vet in Philly; that turf ate up many a good football and baseball player! Thankfully the Bucs closed it out with a convincing win to take them to the Super bowl back in 2002… People rip on the Trop but that place in Philly was just a cesspool, not to mention the goons/Philly fans who were like rabid dogs…. You know, the guys who gave Santa Claus a concussion during a halftime show via iceballs, cheer opposing players almost getting getting paralyzed (even a d*** like Mike Irvin did not deserve that), just typical NE @-hole fans who are as bad as Yankme and BoSux fans!!!! So Kiermaeir; quit whining about the Trop, it is not that bad and since you have no stick you can not complain about hitting the catwalks!

It looks like Souza came down with a mysterious hip ailment as well.
Kiermaier is the heart and soul of this team.

Baseball played on a rug over cement, Genius I tell you. No dirt, no baseball.
