“It’s good the other team wants me.” “I’m going to help the other team win” “Anything can happen in this game.” Says it all. Matt Moore will have at least a couple of world series rings when he retires in 2030. Steve Pearce will have a World Series Ring and be back next year again as a free agent. Brandon Guyer will make a really good living being a utility player that bounces around the league. Good luck to all. I’ll be following you throughout your careers.

With all this excitement, Don’t overlook the Rays losing to a junk ball pitcher 3 to zipper last night with 1 fabulous hit. I believe it was a double !

Trading away two of there best offensive players is idiotic. Imo they just gave Pearce away for peactically nothing. I’m sure he would have stayed if they had offered him an extension. Guyer was probably there best all around outfielder. With whats left doesn’t say much about the future of the Rays. The best thing they could do is move out of Florida. The FO has no idea what they are doing, especially Silverman.

I don’t understand the Pearce trade TOM; the Rays simply got another A ball catcher who projects to be decent defensively but unlikely to ever crack the Mendoza line. Rays already have 6 or 7 guys like that in the minors and actually released the only catcher that could throw anyone out: rene Rivera, during spring training. This kid Luke Maile looks like he has potential and the starters have quit giving up the 3 or 4 run first innings since he has started behind the plate and Conger got the red eye to Durham. Nonetheless this trade is clueless and the guyer one looks like a reach as well. The Moore trade: well time will tell with that one, Duffy could be a great addition or a bust. I hope Derek Shelton does not screw up his bat too badly….
