Kevin Cash “Envisioned A Scenario”
July 15th, 2016
Strange choice of words
Dee-Fence! De-Fense!
Luke Maile is back.
Hank Conger rightfully getting booted to Durham means Maile is back to see if he’s a real major leaguer. Last year, Maile didn’t look the part, after 15 games batting .171, on the heels of batting .242 in Durham with two home runs and 12 RBIs in 214 plate appearances.
Regardless, Joe can’t wait to watch the defensive upgrade Maile represents.
Kevin Cash told the official Rays’ website that Maile was in their plans, and after a good stretch at Durham this year, his time is now.
“I think we kind of envisioned a scenario where he was going to be up here,” Cash said. “We need to find out a little bit about him. He’s actually had a pretty good run offensively here the last month or so at Triple-A. Great reports from Jared [Sandberg], his Triple-A manager.”
Joe had to laugh at Cash saying he “envisioned a scenario” that would call-up Maile. Really? Did the manager believe another garbage year from the catching position would doom the Rays?
Joe wishes Maile well. Maybe he’s the tweak that can snap the starters out of their funk.

I know this a blog for our Tampa Bay Rays, and most of you know I am a regular contributor. Joe – You might want to have your finger on the delete button. Look at what’s happening in France closely folks because that where we will be soon if we allow open immigration from Muslum countries. As a people, they don’t assimilate with local and national customs, their birth rate is over twice as much as our women are pumping out, and once they’re established, want to change society to an islamic culture. France has been taking islamic immigrants for years and look how it’s paying off for them. You can’t even go into some of Paris’s suburbs without being assaulted. EVEN the police don’t go in there.
I’m sorry to sway from sports talk, but if we don’t learn a lesson from the European crisis, we’ll eat the same crap as they are. NO immigration here from Muslum countries. Period. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

What happened in Nice was a despicable act of cowardice! But back to baseball, Maile probably be like a raw Rene Rivera which leads me to the question of why the $#$% did the rays move Rivera out and bring 1 for 40 Conger in as both bat 0.170 but at least Rivera could call a pitch and cut down a runner from time to time. 105 losses are on the horizon and the Twinkies, Reds and Braves may not have sewn up the top 3 draft slots yet. The Rays are comical, its like an NBA team tanking for that lottery pick….

Good news! Archer didn’t lose the game in the 1st inning.
Better news! Kevin Kiermier is back!
Great new! Luke Maile appears to be a real professional catcher.
Bad news! Cash is still the coach. He replaced a hot hitting Maile (2-3) with a cold hitting Arcia (K). Cash just doesn’t have a feel for the flow of the games.
Remember when he pinch hit for a guy who needed one more hit to complete the cycle.
WTF!!!

and Miguel if Cash does not have a feel for the game the guys above him in the organization do not either… That is the problem.. I think the rays are stuck with a bunch of politically correct Hugh Culverhouses’s at the helm….. Cheap, money making and unwilling to sacrifice profit for the sake ofa win!
