At Least It Was Quick

Miserable
Zack Grienke was a red hot starter entering last night’s Rays game in the desert, and now he’s even hotter.
The Rays went quietly and quickly in 2 hours and 15 minutes, whimpering to a 5-0, three-hit loss. It took less than half that time for Matt Moore to look like a minor leaguer — again.
Grienke’s dominance is on display below. The Rays and Diamondbacks play the rubber game of the series this afternoon.

This was a give away game from the beginning. Longoria and Sousa Jr. not in the line up to give them a rest. Now why would they give these guys a rest on Tuesday Night when the Wednesday get away day would be better as Thursday is an off day giving 2 1/2 days rest as to 1. Answer: Longoria & Sousa Jr. didn’t want to face the Diamondbacks 210 million dollar pitcher, Zack Grienke. I don’t blame them and Longoria has played every game this year. (and most in the majors total for the last 3 years). Just a little curious.

They also sat out Pearce. There was no chance of a win.
