The Rays Were Not Felixed
May 10th, 2016Six out of 10 guys who battedĀ for the Rays last night in Seattle are hitting under .220.
So yeah, Felix Hernandez is a stud starter, and has been for seven-plus years, but Joe can’t bow to King Felix this morning after the Rays’ lifeless 5-2 loss.
What’s really to be expected with such an anemic lineup?
The Rays (15-15) squeaked out four hits, and Logan Morrison upped his average to .122 with a single.
The big loss, which hopefully isn’t lasting, was Logan Forsythe getting plunked in the left shoulder and having to leave the game. X-rays were negative, per the Rays’ website, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be 100 percent soon.
Matt Moore? Joe’s not going to panic, but where did the April version go to hide? Sheesh.

Sucks for the Rays when the highlight of the game was remembering Kiermeir’s triple from years ago. The only extra base hit in a decade against that pitcher.
At least Dickerson broke that streak.
I saw James Loney drinking a Teen Spirit at the Crocodile Cafe and his hair was perfect!

Why would Cash put Logan Morrison in the clean up spot ??? No RBI’s last night, no RBI’s in May. No RBIs in April. No RBI’s period ! Yes, he got a hit going 1 fer 4. Whoo Whoo ! James Loney tried to get into the Peek a Boo Lounge last night, but the bouncers had enough of him and his wacky Girlfriend, Mercedes & showed them the door. They had gotten into an argument and Mercedes threw Loney’s toupee onto the dance floor, where Big Boob Betty slipped on it and popped one of her assets.
