smylyraysYeah, yeah, the Rays cranked out 17 hits against mostly a bunch of garbage Orioles pitchers last night.

But the real excitement was on the mound.

Another Rays starter was near perfect in his spring debut. This time it was Drew Smyly, who ended his two-inning stint fanning Chris Davis, Mark Trumbo and Matt Wieters.

Enjoy Smyly talking about his work below, via the Rays’ official website.
