Yes, the Rays’ closer and 2015 All-Star, Brad Boxberger, is injured and isn’t expected back until mid-May.
WDAE-AM 620 beat reporter Steve Carney shared the news this morning.

Tampa Bay Times beat writer Marc Topkin Twittered that Kevin Cash is not naming a replacement closer immediately and the organization will not seek a new arm in a trade.
Joe wouldn’t bet on the latter. The Rays’ great tradition of finding bullpen arms off the street isn’t dead yet.
